In this video Chris “Puzzle” Green and The Quarter Inch Kings give you a sample of each of three songs (You’ll Know Me, Listen Boy, Put It In The Air) found in the triple dj pack we titled Leftovers. These songs are “leftovers” from Chris’s The Puzzle EP that never made the project. We just decided to share em and each song’s dj pack includes the Street, Clean, Instrumental, and Acapella version. The production stays consistent with that classic boom bap sound that every true hip hop head knows and appreciates, and married with clever lyrics and punch lines to keep your ears glued to the speaker. Shout out to Big Sproxx who shot and directed the video, also a big shout out to Bambo Slice of www.knapsackwax.com for the graphics.

Served up to you char-broiled, strait off an open flame, the “F-DUB” collective brings you its latest installment of pure, unadulterated artistry: The Grille. Local 24 hour diner The Grille has played second home to The Freedom Writers for the past 2 years whether the occasion be an all-night studio session, video shoot, a heated hip hop debate or just straight politicking. Filmed in one take Theo3, Tona, Adam Bomb, Frankie Payne and Progress terrorize the raw and gritty backdrop provided by in house producer/engineer/director Big Sproxx with the perfect blend of lyricism and punchlines that is sure to have listeners bopping their heads and twisting their grilles. Special shout out to our favorite waitress, Jackie aka Ja-kay… Woosh!

“FP Association preservation is policy, a very important rule second to only honesty, Double Q rated that’s Quality and Quantity, created in the basement like I grew it hydroponically”. Following the success of the singles “Wake Up”, “Arizona Bay” and “For The Change” the Freedom Writers are back at it again with their latest installment “The Goal.” The spotlight here is on Toronto, veteran emcee Frankie Payne formally known as Jugganot as he lays down precise flows, street knowledge and a melodic hook which he describes as “Revolutionary Soul” creating the perfect blend of wisdom and grittiness.. In “The Goal” Frankie takes you on a lyrical journey backed by a two in one powerful, hypnotic composition courtesy of Freedom Writers comrade Big Sproxx who also directed and edited the video. Whether you’re working a 9 to 5 or the block, trying to get out debt or jail, WE ALL WANT FREEDOM. In a perfect world we are all free from physical, finical, mental and spiritual oppression, but in this world freedom is “The Goal”.
